Emma Stone Is All Glamour in a Silver Slipdress and Sky-Blue Cape

Emma Stone delivered true Hollywood glamour yesterday evening, when she attended a Poor Things screening in London.

The actor was the epitome of sophistication as she walked the red carpet at the U.K. gala, held at the Barbican Centre, in a stunning silky silver slipdress. The romantic piece featured a linear design throughout, pretty fabric-covered buttons along the sides, and a dramatic V neckline covered by sheer gauze. Over the dress, Stone layered a crinkled sky-blue cape, which she wore below her shoulders, wrapped around her arms, adding to the drama and the glamour.

Stone finished the look with silky silver sandals and diamond jewelry, including large white diamond cluster earrings with red stones, and some diamond rings. The actor kept her makeup and hair looks timeless, opting for a subtle black liner, a glossy pink lip, a wavy bob, and a glossy nude mani-pedi.

At the screening, Stone was joined by costars Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe, both looking dapper in black suits. Also in the cast are Margaret Qualley, Ramy Youssef, and Christopher Abbott.

Poor Things, directed by celebrated Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, follows the life of Bella Baxter (Stone), a child in a woman’s body. For her, “everything is new and everything is interesting—words, bodies, maps, music, sugar, sex—and Lanthimos matches her fascination with rampant glee,” Variety said in its review.

Stone attended the premiere of the film earlier this month, and looked incredible in a pale yellow slipdress embellished with luminescent pearls and reflective silver crystals, by Louis Vuitton.
