WWE Day 1 is tonight and Atlanta has quite a show in store. We know that at least one angle will have WrestleMania implications. We will have full coverage here at Ringside News.
As reported earlier, several WWE Superstars recently tested positive for COVID-19. To add to that, the condition worsened as more wrestlers and members of staff tested positive for the virus.
Due to this, WWE has already started their Holiday Tour and several top talents were pulled from the events. In fact, the company has been holding back talents from touring to protect the Day 1 pay-per-view.
As Ringside News exclusively reported, the company will wait until the very last moment until they have to make changes. This is because the company is working with the assumption that most of their talents will be there for the show.
Day 1 takes place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Jan. 1. For those without a live ticket, it starts at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m ET. The kickoff show will begin at 7 p.m. ET. Here is the updated card for the event:
WWE Universal Championship:
Roman Reigns (champion) vs. Brock Lesnar
WWE Championship:
Big E (champion) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley
Singles Match:
